Makeup.
It's confusing, I know. How are you supposed to know which creams to use, what powders to powder with, and on and on. Can we be honest? Most people don't actually care about the makeup, they just want to fix a few specific problems. Working on makeup on the weekends at the store I get asked 5 questions over and over and over, so I've decided to put together a quick and easy guide for everyone to follow!
How do I get rid of dark circles?
Dark circles are so annoying. Be it from lack of sleep or too much stress, these pesky bruises can turn any look from fab to drab. Luckily its pretty easy to fix.
Step 1: Apply the Ambrosia Anti-Aging Eye Balm ($22) around the eye. Make sure to dab onto the skin, never pull! Our skin near the eye is very delicate and pulling on it will only increase your chances of developing wrinkles as you get older.
Step 2: The next morning apply the Go Green Brightening Day Eye Cream ($24) to the affected area. Remember, dab don't pull!
Step 3: Apply SWAK ($15) to the remaining dark areas. Dab don't pull! (I really can't stress this enough)
Step 4: Finally finish off with the Sun Magic Setting powder ($20) for a smooth finished looked.
How do I reduce redness?
Are you blushing? Don't worry, I know how to help!
Step 1: Use the Ambrosia Cleansing Cream & Makeup Remover ($24) to cleanse and heal the face.
Step 2: Next use the Doll Face Mattifier & Primer ($30) all over your face.
Step 3: Finish off with the Sun Magic Setting powder ($20) for a smooth, finished looked.
How do I help my dry lips?
Dry lips are painful and hard to kiss, and I really don't want anything messing with my chances for kisses.
Step 1: Start with the Lip-A-Luscious lip exfoliator ($12) to gently remove dead skin and make way for softer, healthier lips. Gently rub exfoliator onto lips and then wipe off.
Step 2: Follow up with the Ambrosia Anti-Aging Lip Treatment ($20) which is made to heal and protect lips.
Step 3: Apply your desired lip color on top if you want.
How can I get fuller lips?
Kendall Jenner won't have anything on you after following these simple steps. (Please don't try the Jenner lip challenge, you can get full lips without the pain)
Step 1: Outline your lips using either the Rosy or Sweet Cheeks Lip Stain ($18) This will give you a more natural outline which you won't get with lip pencils.
Step 2: Next use the Pucker Potion Lip Enhancer ($12) to make your lips feel and look fuller. Cinnamon aids in circulation which will help make your lips plumper without harmful additives.
Step 3: Follow up with your favorite lip color right on top! (or go nude for a more classic, earthy look)
Step 4: Finish off with the 24 Kt Gold Lip & Face Highlighter ($30) in the cupid's bow above the upper lip and in the middle of the lips. This will highlight your lips giving them a fuller look.
How do I choose the right color foundation?
Foundation. *hears a collective sigh* I know, I know foundation can be tricky and a little intimidating. I mean, foundation, as in the very base of the whole look. But I'm here to tell you that it really doesn't have to be that hard guys. In fact, you only need 2 products. That's right, 2!
Step 1: Choose between Light Twinkle ($30) or Dark Twinkle ($30) Color Adjusting Mineral Makeup. But which one is the right one? Breathe, you've got this. If you have lighter skin the Light Twinkle is for your and if you have darker skin choose the Dark Twinkle. What's amazing about these products is that they are color adjusting! That means that no matter which one you choose, the makeup will adjust itself to match your color perfectly.
Step 2: Finish off with a Sun Magic Mineral Powder for a smooth & finished look. For light or fair skin use the Sun Magic Healing Mineral Powder: Light Beige Tones. If you have medium skin use the Sun Magic Healing Mineral Powder : Medium Beige Tones. Finally for darker skin tones use the Sun Magic Healing Mineral Powder: Dark Skin Tones. And that's it, easy peasy!
