A dry enzyme exfoliant of baking soda and citric acid that foams into a paste in liquid and exfoliates deeply. Because it is intense, it is not for sensitive skin, and you may notice a light tingling and mild redness the first few times you use it.

What Makes It Special

Scent / Texture: A fragrance-free fine powder that foams into a paste in liquid.

Usage: Use on the face after cleansing, no more than once or twice a week. For normal, oily and combination skin, not sensitive skin.

Benefits: Exfoliates deeply and cleanses for smooth, squeaky clean skin, reducing the appearance of blemishes.

Key Ingredients: Formulated with activated charcoal, which reduces the appearance of skin imperfections. Bromelain, an enzyme from pineapple stems, gently removes dead skin cells.

Info: 1.25 oz / 35 g net weight in a thick plastic jar with cap (2.19 x 2.19 x 1.44 in). Paraben-free, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and American made in small batches.

Directions

After cleansing, measure a teaspoon of powder into your palm. Mix with wet fingers until it forms a paste, then apply right away to damp skin in circular motions. Rinse, pat dry and follow with moisturizer. Use no more than 1-2 times a week.

Great exfoliant, maybe be careful with sensitive skin

When I first used this the tingle turned to a bit of a sting. The Hello Bright exfoliant powder is my go-to, with a little tingle, but this was stronger. I’d suggest this one for folks who don’t have as much sensitivities.

My Favorite

This is my all-time favorite exfoliant. I’ve been using the Detox Enzyme for years and feel I can’t say enough good things about this product! I use this 3x a week but secretly wish I could use it every night(but I don’t). A little goes a long way. This goes perfect with the Ambrosia Night Serum.

Powder hardens in jar

The powder hardened in the jar after using about half of it (1 oz). I have tried scraping it to pieces with different tools, but it is like cement!

Soft, smooth, and clear skin.

We are only fortunate enough to get into Mojo physically about once per year. Last fall George talked my husband and I into trying this. It is one of those few products that is so beneficial regardless of your gender or age! We are in our late 30's and both LOVE this product. It FEELS like it's cleaning when you're massaging it into your face. We love the results as well. We love this along with all of our other Mojo products!

Detox Charcoal cleanser= Pore Floss.

My roommate and I do weekly facials and we stumbled upon Mojo a few weeks ago. My roommate is big into skin care while I'm a newbie. She said once that she got am professional facial and told me how amazing it was and how she'd never found any product that felt the same.

We got the Detox Charcoal cleanser at Mojo and, after using it, my roommate said that her skin felt the same as it had with the professional facial. We now have a name for it because it feel like your pores have been flossed.

I actually received this item as a sample while I purchased two other of my favorite Mojo products. I'm in my late 20's and have forever struggled with acne, blackheads, large pores, basically terrible skin all over. I've been using this product for two week and I will never stop using it again!! My skin is so much smoother, stubborn acne and scares are almost all gone! I'm so amazed! It did burn my face the first three or four times I used it, but the burning sensation does minimize after each use and now I barely even feel it.
P.S. - I decided to try it out on a stubborn eczema patch I've had on my hand for over four months. This powder began to heal it within the week!
